We would like to invite all youth organizations, programs,
camps, etc. to be a part of this day long, family oriented/kid
focused event.
Scheduled activities include a kids art show, kids talent
exhibition, skateboard and stunt bike exhibition, food and
fun games for everyone throughout the day. This will be a
great time to sign-up participants for summer teams, competitions,
activities, camps and classes or just let families know what
there is to do in Muncie this summer!
Booths will be set up in the 200 - 300 Blocks of Walnut Street
and adjacent parking lots as needed, and may be rented for
$25 per booth or FREE if you provide an activity for kids.
As a requirement of free participation, each group is asked
to incorporate some sort of activity or entertainment that
expresses their groupÕs mission. We encourage creativity and
will accommodate with facility needs as required if requested
ahead of time.
Application deadline is April 18th. Click Here to download
the application and additional info.
We would like to invite everyone to be a part of the first annual "Kids Art Sale" in conjunction with the second annual ÒSpring ZingÓ in Downtown Muncie. This will be a great opportunity for kids of all ages to interact with other artists and reap the benefits of selling their stuff! We all know how motivating a little extra cash can be!
If you are a teacher, and would like to bring a group of children, this could be a fundraiser for classroom art supplies, go into a kitty for a special art outing or simply be income for the kids.
There is no fee to participate. We would only ask that you submit an application by April 4th so we can plan space accordingly. We are considering any student a ÒkidÓ for this show. BSU, IVY Tech, high, middle, elementary or home school students are all welcome to participate and all mediums of expression are accepted. We do ask that all work presented is family friendly.
Know a teacher or a talented kid we should invite? Have them give us a call @ 765 282-7897!
